Suez Canal Bulldozer game collection
Abstract
In March 2021, a 1,300-foot freight liner called the Ever Given ran aground in the Suez Canal, where it remained for six days -- halting all maritime traffic through the waterway and impacting global commerce to the tune of billions of dollars. While the boat was still trapped in the Suez, game design Eric Wilder created a video game to commemorate the event. This digital collection contains approx. 2 MB of digital game assets, source code, and publicity articles related to Eric Wilder's 2021 game "Suez Canal Bulldozer" for the Nintendo Game Boy.
