Mark Day papers
The Mark Day papers are a compilation of game designs, planning materials, drawings, and video game magazines. The bulk of the materials in this collection are dated from 1995.
Pitfall II: Lost Caverns hand-drawn maps
The Pitfall II: Lost Caverns hand-drawn maps were drawn by Lee Frank and accompanied his donation of a ColecoVision cartidge of Pitfall II: Lost Caverns to The Strong. These maps are for levels 1-27 of the game.
Marc Cram game design document
The Marc Cram game design document comprises 15 pages of game design documentation, including text, schedules, and sketches for "Dune: Battle of the Houses," 1991; also letter describing documentation, 2015.
Williams pinball playfield design collection
The Williams pinball playfield design collection contains more than 200 large hand-drawn playfield sketches, as well as mechanical insert drawings and cabinet artwork. Digital images of playfields and insert drawings are also included. The materials range in date from 1946 through 2015, with the bulk of the materials from 1946-1975.
Tengen, Inc. records
The Tengen, Inc. records contain artwork, promotional and trade show materials, posters, correspondence, photographs, assembly drawings, and schematics. A sizeable portion of this collection covers marketing and publicity in the form of sell sheets. The bulk of the materials are dated between 1987 and 1994.
William K. Ford case files collection
The William K. Ford case files collection is a compilation of digitized documents of various court filings from the 1970s and 1980s pertaining to the video game and arcade industry. Also included in this collection are three law journal articles and accompanying letters from Ford.
Laine Nooney Sierra On-Line collection
The Laine Nooney Sierra On-Line collection is a compilation of company documents, game maps, game pitches, game codes, art, photographs, slides, and oral histories from past employees of Sierra On-Line. Laine Nooney, games historian and post-doctorate researcher at New York University, collected these in the course of her research.
Leonard Herman press kit and marketing collection
The Leonard Herman press kit and marketing collection includes six CDs containing digitized press kit materials for various paper and electronic gaming companies from 1981-2003.
