AGPI collection of game rules
This collection consists of game rules [photocopies and originals] collected by members of the Association for Games and Puzzles International. The materials are dated from 1841 to 2006. The rules included are for board games, card games, word games, educational games, and many more.
AGPI collection on European games
This file of information, collected by the Association for Games & Puzzles International (AGPI), includes two documents detailing early European games. The first, "The Pre-1900 European Game Catalog," was compiled by Bill Alexander in 1989 and lists known manufacturers of games in Europe during the 19th century. The other is a 1993 catalog (in German) created by Austrian organization Die Spiel Collection, documenting games manufacturers in Austria.
Andrew Berton Collection of Toy and Game Product Sell Sheets
This collection is comprised of international toy and game product sell sheets from manufacturers and individual entrepreneurs as collected and organized by Andrew Berton. The bulk of the materials are dated between 1987 and 2009.
Anne D. Williams games-related clippings and correspondence
This folder of games-related clippings includes the published articles "The Guru of Games: The Play's the Thing for Game Inventor Sid Sackson" (Minda Zetlin, GAMES magazine, Feb/March 1987) and "The Insides and Outsides of Game Collecting" (Bruce Whitehill, Inside Collector, March 1991). Also in this folder are drafts of an article "How to Date Your Monopoly Game" by Dave Oglesby, with associated edits, notes, and correspondence with Anne D. Williams.

This collection consists of game rules and ephemera collected by Bob Collins. The materials date from 1878 to 1997.
Charles Phillips papers
The collection documents Charles Phillips's career as a toy and game designer. The majority of the collection is undated, the remainder of the papers date from 1979 to 2019 with the bulk dating from 1981 to 1998. The materials consist of game design documents, game rules, game board drafts, game component and packaging proofs, correspondence, photographs, drawings, and reference material.
Dan Blum’s Sid Sackson collection
Dan Blum’s Sid Sackson collection is a compilation of Sackson-created puzzle solutions, correspondence, game descriptions, photographs, and notes. Also in this collection are address book pages, an audio-cassette, and a marketing VHS cassette. The materials are dated between 1980 and 1997.
Elizabeth Hargrave papers, 2013-2023
The Elizabeth Hargrave papers include materials used in the design, development, and publication process for the board games Wingspan (2019) and Mariposas (2020). The physical reference materials are comprised of research notes and prototype components including cards, chits, cubes, dice, dice tower, game boards, player mats, and tokens. The digital files consist of correspondence, graphics, presentations, spreadsheets, text, and video. The bulk of the materials date from 2016 to 2019.
Heap Folk Art Monopoly papers
The Heap Folk Art Monopoly papers accompanied the museum’s acquisition of the John O. Heap Folk Art Monopoly game board, c. 1914. These papers include photographs, copies of the game design sheet and playing rules, and deposition-related documentation. The bulk of these materials are from 1975.
Ken Sons and Tim Walsh Toyland digital archive
The Ken Sons and Tim Walsh Toyland Digital Archive is a collection of more than 65 hours of documentary footage recorded by Ken Sons for his film Toyland. The interviews and scenes were filmed between 2007 and 2010.
