Minnesota Educational Computing Corporation (MECC) collection
The Minnesota Educational Computing Corporation (MECC) collection is a compilation of materials on the development of The Oregon Trail and other MECC educational computer programs, as well as various related news articles, journals, photographs, floppy disks, VHS tapes, and more. The bulk of the materials are dated between 1973 and 1998.
Presage Software records
The records document products developed by Presage Software, Inc. including educational games and other multimedia entertainment. The materials consist of artwork, game manuals, press kits, VHS tapes of promotional videos, and demo CDs.
Tom Sloper papers
This collection documents Tom Sloper’s role in the toy and videogame industry, specifically his consultant work and expertise in Mah-Jongg games. The bulk of materials are dated from 1983-2000.
Will Wright collection
The Will Wright collection is a compilation of donated materials from Will Wright and documentation gathered by staff at The Strong. Within this collection are nine original game design notebooks from Wright and information on Wright’s keynote address at a 2010 gaming conference.
