This file is a term paper titled "Cats and Kittens," written by donor Karl Kabelac for his 8th grade science class in 1956.

This composition notebook, with labels of "Seventh Grade Compositions 1915 + 1916" and "8th Grade Compositions 1916-1917," contains handwritten notes, outlines, and essays. The author is Mabel R. Fenner, with the seventh grade teacher's name written as Miss Marylee Stillman.

This collection of notes and a notebook documents seventh-grade friendship (and drama) between several female students at a Rochester, New York-area middle school. These notes represent a favorite pastime of teenage girls of the 1980s and 1990s: note-folding and note-passing.

The Stephen K. Desroches papers provide a unique perspective of male childhood in the 1980s and 1990s. Materials in this collection exhibit creative activities, including homemade books, sticker books, photo albums, scrapbooks, and correspondence to pen pals and holiday characters. Additional items in this collection document events attended by Desroches throughout his life. The bulk of the materials are dated between 1982 and 1992.
