Biographical Note

Robert Rees Jr. is a toy designer and author from Des Moines, Iowa. In 2009 he invented the Bubble-Worm, a bubble blowing toy which produces a long foamy rope of bubbles. The toy was licensed to Funrise Toys Ltd. in 2010 and was discontinued in 2012, leading to a legal complaint of attorney misconduct. The Bubble-Worm was a bronze medal winner at the 2012 Minnesota Inventors Congress.

The collection was donated to The Strong in June 2016 as a gift of Robert Rees Jr. and accessioned under Object ID: 116.3140.

The files were received as email attachments in March 2016.
