Jim Sutton papers
Abstract
This folder contains materials created by Jim Sutton relating to the 1974 Avalon Hill game Rise and Decline of the Third Reich. Sutton and four of his high school classmates played this game in order to write a paper for their Government and Free Enterprise class during Sutton's 1974-1975 senior year at Cortez High School in Phoenix, Arizona. These materials include a copy of their paper, titled "World War II: A 20/20 Hindsight View," as well as copies of pages from Sutton's yearbook and a narrative written about this project in 2020.
