Series I includes diaries and notebooks maintained by Maxine Glynn from 1923 to 1929. "My Camp Lod documents Maxines Jones' summer at Camp Winnemont, Ossipee, New Hampshire in 1923, when she was 18 years-old. It contains a handwritten daily camp log, lists of tent mates and friends, camp songs and cheers, descriptions of hiking trips, water sports, tennis matches, riflery, archery, and arts and crafts, as well as tree identifications. It also contains eight photographs of camp scenes and activities.

Object number 86.693 and 86.696 are loose-leaf notebooks containing daily cafeteria menus, number of people sered, costs, and profits from around 1928 to 1929, when Maxine Jones served as a home economics teacher and cafeteria manager at Ludlow High School.

This series also includes Maxine Jones Glynn's daily diary of her activities at Ludlow High School as a home economics teacher and cafeteria manager, her relationship and marriage to Alfred Glynn, setting up their apartment, and daily life in the Springfield - Holyoke - Amherst - Ludlow - Worcester area with friends and family.
