Photographs - Oversized photos of Japan Society Luncheon, 1909-1914 and n.d.
Scope and Content Note
Within this subseries are various formats of photographs and moving images related to Margaret Woodbury Strong. Of interest are the Capstaff Kodachrome plates in Box 55; this photography technique was used only for a brief period of time in the 1910s. Loose photographs have been added to enclosures and arranged by topic; this is a change from the previous system of arrangement of photographs, which is also included here for reference.
The photograph albums in this subseries were assembled by Margaret Strong. The moving images in this subseries were captured by Margaret or Homer Strong, though handwritten labels [indicated here in quotation marks] on the film reels’ original cardboard boxes were written by Margaret.
