Series II: Homer Strong, 1869-c. 1980s
Scope and Content Note
Homer Strong (11/11/1875–9/23/1958) married Margaret Woodbury on September 9, 1920. Homer grew up near Albany, New York, and studied at the Union Classical Institute and Cornell College. He was a lawyer by trade, and he also tried his hand at several different businesses. Homer Strong belonged to many civic organizations in New York State and the Rochester area, and he enjoyed gardening and book collecting. He is interred in the Woodbury Mausoleum at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York.
This series contains documentation on Homer Strong’s education, business interests, and hobbies, along with correspondence, financial documents, photographs, and other ephemera.
