The Phase Alternating Line (PAL) region is a television publication territory that covers most of Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and Oceania, in contrast to the NTSC standard used in Japan and nearly all of North America. Therefore, the PAL game manuals consist of English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions of the instructions. The manual designs are mostly proofs and final proofs.
