Scope and Content Note
This subseries houses documentation related to the development and release of The Last Express (1997), Mechner’s fourth published computer game. Materials here include research materials, notes, correspondence, sketches, script drafts, reference journals, technical documentation, film production binders, advertisements, press releases, published reviews, photographs, and more. (Staff from Smoking Car Productions visited two existing Orient Express trains in Budapest and Athens in order to replicate the train’s interior/exterior for the computer game.)
