Mark B. Lesser papers
The Mark B. Lesser papers are a compilation of technical documentation, notes, memos, and other information related to the programming of Mattel Electronics’ handheld games (including Auto Race, Football, and Baseball), as well as documentation for other video game designs. The bulk of the materials are dated between 1976 and 1978.
Philip E. Orbanes papers
The Philip E. Orbanes papers are a compilation of correspondence, legal contracts, newspaper articles, reference materials, research notes, game advertisements, photographs, audio files, and other papers collected and used by Philip E. Orbanes over the course of his career in the American toy and game industry. The bulk of the materials are from 1967 through 2005. Staff at The Strong recorded a video oral history of Orbanes in 2013.
Venture Technologies records
The records document Venture Technologies product development of Luminations, an electronic puzzle. The records include articles, reference materials, product specifications, marketing materials, and product testing documentation. The materials consist of text, printed material, photographic prints, still images, and video clips. The materials are dated from 1979 to 2009, with the bulk of the materials dated from 1987 to 1990.
